Who we are

This site, appliedendtoendflow.com, is operated by Applied Flow Press, an imprint of Curtis Hibbs and Joshua Barnes. The site supports the Applied End-to-End Flow Series of books and related content.

What we collect

We collect the minimum we need to operate the site and respond to you.

• Information you give us directly. If you write to [email protected], we receive your contact details and the contents of your message. If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect the fields on that form: the required fields labeled Email, Name, and Last name, plus any optional Company, Role / Title, and Questions or comments you provide.
• Standard server logs. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, records technical information about visits: IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps. This is normal web infrastructure and we use it for security and basic operational diagnostics.
• Knowledge Base questions. If you use Ask the Knowledge Base, the text of your question is sent to Cloudflare so it can retrieve public site content and generate an answer. Do not enter confidential, personal, or client information. The site does not store a conversation history in your browser.
• Cookies and browser storage. Cloudflare may set essential cookies. Pages with the mailing-list form load MailerLite's signup script, which may use cookies or browser storage to operate that form. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers or analytics that profile you across sites.

Why we collect it

• To answer your messages.
• To send you the mailing list emails you signed up for (announcements, free Executive Summary Edition PDF, related content).
• To keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
• To retrieve public source pages and generate answers when you use Ask the Knowledge Base.

Who we share it with

We share data with the third parties we use to run the service:

• Cloudflare (United States) hosts the site, routes messages sent to our site email address, and provides the retrieval and generation service behind Ask the Knowledge Base. They process server logs, email-routing data, and submitted Knowledge Base questions on our behalf.
• Google provides Gmail, where our correspondence arrives, serves the Lato font files used by the site, and provides the reCAPTCHA check on the signup form. Requests for those font files disclose normal connection data, including IP address and user agent, to Google.
• MailerLite stores mailing list subscribers and sends confirmation, download, and newsletter emails on our behalf.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence: retained for as long as the conversation is operationally useful, then archived or deleted. Mailing list signups: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs and Knowledge Base query records: retained by Cloudflare according to the service settings and their standard policy.

Your rights

You can:

• Ask what data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time using the link in any email we send.

Children

This site is intended for adult professional readers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information here, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We operate from the United States. If you visit this site from outside the United States, your information is processed in the US under US law. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves, for example if we add a contact form or another service provider. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be noted in mailing list communication.
